However, while you may move freely across the country save for Western Australia, in some states you may have to quarantine you and your family for up to 14 days. Some of the quarantine rules are as follows.
Northern Territory: When you arrive at the border, you will need to fill out a border arrival form and be moved to a designated location for 14 days. When the 14 days are completed, you can then proceed to your residence. You will have to pay for any accommodation costs as a result of being quarantined.
Queensland: If you are moving into Queensland from another state, you must enter quarantine for the next 14 days at your new residence if you like.
South Australia: Self-quarantine is required for 14 days when you arrive at your new home after entering the state.
Tasmania: Similar to the Northern Territory, but the government will provide the accommodations.
Western Australia: This is the only state that is closed in terms of moving into one of the nine regions that make up Western Australia. You may apply for a special exemption for this type of travel.
Australia Capital Territory, New South Wales, and Victoria: There are no compulsory quarantine or isolation when moving into these states or territories.
